Kyle (Ki Hyun) Lee

Counsellor

I am a counsellor who works with individuals navigating trauma, addiction, and complex life challenges. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focusing on creating a space where clients feel respected, understood, and able to explore their experiences without judgment. I aim to support people in developing insight, emotional resilience, and practical strategies that help them move forward in meaningful ways.

I currently work with clients within the ACC Sensitive Claims framework, supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse. My work also focuses on addictive behaviours and the psychological processes that influence coping patterns, emotional regulation, and long-term recovery. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches while adapting to each client’s personal story, goals, and pace of change.

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and I am currently completing a Master of Addictive Behaviours at Monash University. My postgraduate training focuses on screening, assessment, and brief interventions for addictive behaviours, equipping me with evidence-based tools to support early identification and effective treatment planning.

My aim is to help clients better understand their experiences, strengthen their capacity for change, and develop practical pathways toward recovery and wellbeing.
