Clinical Psychologist
Kia ora, I’m Charlotte, a registered clinical psychologist living in Auckland. I’ve spent my career working in forensic settings, supporting clients with complex mental health needs, personality dynamics, and significant trauma. I believe people are the experts of their own life, and that therapy is a shared experience. I am motivated to work with you to unpack, understand and make meaning of different challenges life throws our way.
The therapeutic relationship is the core of my mahi, within which I prioritise your needs and goals, and aim to build a safe space for exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviours to facilitate resilience and change. Being evidence-based is a strong value of mine, meaning I rely on research and what’s proven to work to inform my practice.
I have experience with cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, and schema therapy, and recognise the importance of finding an approach that works for you. I’m passionate about supporting people experiencing a wide range of problems and ultimately, helping you find what you’re looking for along the way.
