Michelle Duff

Counselling Psychologist

As a registered Counselling Psychologist, I work with people facing the harder edges of life – where values feel tested, relationships strained, and the path isn’t clear.

I have experience working with mental wellbeing challenges related to personality, trauma, physical and psychological violence, sexual abuse, physical and moral injuries, cognitive and learning challenges, adjustment difficulties, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, shame, grief and loss. My published research explores parents’ experience of their donor conceived child’s search for and linking with their donor. Alongside my private practice I also work in a prison environment supporting change in men who have committed serious offences.

My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, non-judgemental, grounded in evidence and tailored to meet your needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches (including ACT and DBT) to work alongside you to help you restore a sense of direction, rebuild trust in yourself and others, and move towards a life that aligns with what matters most to you.
