
Psychologist
Louisa is a registered psychologist and has worked in practice and leadership roles for 25 years. Having initially trained in the UK as a Forensic Psychologist, she has extensive experience both in the UK and Aotearoa New Zealand in assessing and working to support change in people who have committed serious offences (in both prisons and the community). Louisa has also worked within the social services sector and has expertise in helping children and young people who are experiencing difficulties, and in providing parenting support.
Louisa is a trained in a range of assessments and evidence-based treatment approaches, which she tailors to the meet the needs of individual clients. Louisa takes a strength-based and collaborative approach to help adolescents and adults overcome a range of challenges and difficulties.
Louisa now splits her time between private practice, providing consultancy and training, and raising her two children, in central Auckland.
